How We Work7-Step ProcessLive · By the Nice Fulfillment Team

Work with a fulfillmentpartner thatgives a damn.

Tired of getting lost in the shuffle at a massive 3PL but need more support than a mom-and-pop fulfillment center can offer? At Nice Fulfillment, our technology-forward warehouse and flexible processes can help your brand reach new heights without sacrificing the personal touch and dedicated support you deserve.

The Process

Seven deliberate steps. Zero hand-offs to strangers.

Step 1

Whiteboard your playbook with us, not just email it:

We sketch your operational playbook on a chalkboard before a single SKU ships. SOPs, communication cadence, dispatch slate, and receiving standards all pinned up next to your brand, your product, and your product's real edge cases — so the partnership starts ops-fluent, not on Day 30.

Frequently Asked

Questions worth answering before kickoff.

The questions we hear most often from brands evaluating Nice Commerce. If yours isn't here, ask us directly — we'll get back with a real answer, not a sales script.

01

How long does onboarding take?

Nice Commerce onboarding typically takes around three weeks, depending on your operational complexity and launch timeline. The process is tailored to your business and includes systems setup, inventory intake planning, shipping rules, and workflow alignment to ensure a smooth and successful transition. Timelines can be adjusted to meet launch deadlines or seasonal demand when needed.

02

Will I have access to discounted shipping rates?

Yes! Nice Commerce offers discounted shipping rates through regularly negotiated carrier agreements with UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL. Combined with our real-time rate shopping tool and quarterly label cost reviews, we actively work to help brands choose the best carrier network at the best price, no matter what or where they ship.

03

What's your average fulfillment time?

Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST ship the same business day, with a 99.7% on-time shipping rate! Orders submitted after the cutoff ship the next business day. This same-day fulfillment applies to standard DTC orders and is supported by scan-based picking and custom packing processes to ensure speed and accuracy.

04

What level of visibility and insights will I have over my orders and inventory?

Nice Commerce operates on a fully scan-based inventory system. Every unit is tracked in real time, 24/7 and synced with your brand's data dashboard, providing accurate visibility into inventory levels, order status, and movement across all sales channels, plus quick reporting and analysis tools.

05

Does Nice Commerce fulfill B2B, wholesale, and EDI orders?

Absolutely! Nice Commerce supports B2B, wholesale, and EDI fulfillment. Our devoted B2B team specializes in handling the complexities of retail routing guides, marketplace compliance, and freight management. With sales channel segmentation we are also able to help protect against stockouts and maintain service-level agreements.

06

Does Nice Commerce have lot tracking capabilities?

Yes. Nice Commerce offers advanced lot number and expiration date tracking and follows FEFO (first-in-first-out) inventory management across all SKUs. These capabilities help brands manage regulated or perishable products, maintain recall readiness, and ensure inventory consistency.

07

What's your average shrinkage rate?

Nice Commerce maintains a shrinkage rate well below the industry average, thanks to scan-based receiving, cycle counts, and a fully accountable warehouse floor. Every unit is tracked from the moment it arrives to the moment it ships, so discrepancies are caught and resolved quickly.

08

Can I use my own packaging and shipping materials?

Yes — and we encourage it. Bring your own boxes, tissue, inserts, tape, and dunnage, and we'll store and use them on every outbound order. If you don't have branded packaging yet, our kitting and assembly team can help you source and build it.

09

Do you handle returns and exchanges?

We do. Returns are received, inspected, and restocked (or quarantined, depending on your policy) using the same scan-based system as outbound orders. You set the rules — refund timing, restock conditions, return reasons — and we execute them consistently.
